About Me

I am a data enthusiast who fell in love with data while watching rugby as a 10 year old. Fast forward a few years, I studied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Edinburgh. I discovered Tableau in 2018 and quickly developed a deep passion for data visualisation. My journey has seen me take on the role of a Tableau Student Ambassador, be awarded with 6 Viz of the Days on Tableau Public, and enter Iron Viz 5 times, finishing in the top 10 in 2023 and winning the global competition in 2024.

Winning Tableau’s Iron Viz is the proudest moment in my career so far, an achievement that further fuelled my enthusiasm for creating compelling data stories. Out of this enthusiasm was born this blog, where I will share with you tips on how to improve your visualisations with a focus on analysis, design, and storytelling.

I am a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at JLL. Here I am able to leverage my expertise in data visualisation in my direct team, as well as serving as an internal Tableau Ambassador running training sessions to help my colleagues reach their full potential.

I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and love cooking, reading, and being outdoors whenever it isn’t raining! I also co-lead the Scotland Tableau User Group.
